Friends of North Plains Smart Growth is proud to endorse “The 4” candidates for Mayor and City Council as they continue the work to make sure that North Plains grows smart rather than huge. All four candidates are committed to listening to the citizens, following the laws around UGB expansions, and valuing the small-town feel and important farmlands in and around North Plains. After a resounding “No” vote on massive expansion and data centers, we are happy to be able to say “Yes” to these four candidates and the thoughtful and rational plan they have for the city.
